On the 24th October at 3pm, the UK’s Food Standards Agency (FSA) and the current Lithuanian EU presidency have joined forces to bring us an event entitled “Food safety, risk and modern supply networks” at the Lithuanian Embassy in London.
The half day conference will bring together representatives from the FSA, retailers, manufacturers and the media to discuss, among other things, the horse meat scandal – what happened, what should have happened etc.
There will be a keynote address given by Michael Scannell, Director of the Food and Veterinary Service at the European Commission.
If you interested in attending it time to get your skates on, you need to reserve you ticket by tomorrow.
