Gazpacho soup – it’s delicious, nutritious and now it has been shown to reduce blood pressure.
Gazpacho soup is a cold soup containing tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, breadcrumb, olive oil, garlic and a little salt. Looking at the list of ingredients, it probably should come as no surprise that the mix of vitamin C, carotenes and polyphenols makes it good for you.
Researchers from the University of Barcelona studied nearly 4000 people with high cardiovascular risk and found that a moderate to high intake of gazpacho soup was associated with a lower prevalence of hypertension.
