Instant beer, just add (fizzy) water

I kid you not, a company has come up with an ingenious concentrated beer for backpackers to take with them that weighs alot less than conventional beer meaning space for more things in your backpack (or more beer depending on your preference).

Pat’s Backcountry Beverages, based in Talkeetna, Alaska, already have a range of soda concentrates to use with their carbonator for sale on their website but this really seems to be something new. Unlike other concentrated beers that are brewed at normal water levels and then dehydrated they claim to brew the beer in its concentrated state thereby saving on the energy needed to remove all that excess water.

Now for the important questions, how much of an effect does water from different sources have on the taste and does it taste any good?
