Lovers of chicken McNuggets in Hong Kong will have to wait a bit for their next serving. Sales of the product have been suspended after the supplier of some of their pork and chicken was accused of reprocessing expired meat.

Reported on the BBC website, the chain were quick to reassure customers that their food “conforms to the food safety standard under Hong Kong legal regulations”.

According to the article, they have also suspended sales of a number of items including “McSpicy chicken fillets, chicken and green salads, fresh corn cups and iced lemon tea at its outlets in Hong Kong”.

Anyone else wondering about the iced tea?
