Continue to eat pink

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) in the UK has issued a letter in response to a newspaper article that claimed they were going to suggest steaks should be cooked until no pink remains.

The director of communications, Stephen Humphreys, wrote that although it is true that burgers should be cooked thoroughly, that is not the case for steaks as any bacteria is only on the surface and that is killed during the cooking.

The letter can be seen on the FSA  website.
